Small handbag with a fabric top handle with a Kumihimo influence.

• Fabric: This fabric is not a typical Kumihimo braid, the tightly woven, geometric pattern on the fabric gives a nod to traditional Japanese patterns, sometimes found in textile arts like Kumihimo or woven silk. It is slightly textured cotton in a chartreuse colour.
• Pattern: The white geometric/floral pattern is very reminiscent of traditional Japanese fabric designs.
• Embellishment: I feel the orange pom-pom gives it a fun, contrasting and decorative touch. It can be easily removed or replaced.
